Workshop  ·  Pre-Work Questionnaire Ankush Dixit

Before we build,
a quick read.

A short questionnaire so I can shape the workshop day around where you actually are — not a generic group. No wrong answers; I'm calibrating, not assessing.

Time required
~10–15 minutes
Please submit by
14 May 2026

After I read your responses, we'll do a 15-minute one-on-one call on 15 May 2026 to go through anything that needs unpacking and lock in your idea for the day. Please have Claude Code installed and working on your laptop before the call — we'll look at your setup together.

What you've built with Claude

Describe the most complex thing you've built using Claude (any version, any tool). Cover:

  • What it does (one or two sentences)
  • How long it took you, roughly
  • Whether it's deployed somewhere real people can use it, or just running on your machine
  • What was the hardest part

"Nothing significant yet" is a perfectly fine answer if that's the truth — that's actually useful information.

What you know

For each term below, rate yourself 1 to 5:

1never heard of it 2heard of it, don't know what it does 3know it, haven't used it 4used it occasionally 5use it regularly

The pipeline

These are the 13 steps of taking an idea to production. For each, tick whichever fits best:

Nevernever done it With helpdone it with significant guidance Solodone it independently, more than once

Your idea for the day

You'll bring one personal idea to the workshop and we'll spec it, plan it, and partially build it together. Keep it small — this is the most important thing on this whole page.

Hard constraints
  • One or two core features maximum
  • No login, signup, or authentication of any kind
  • No payments
  • Something you'd genuinely use yourself (not work-related, not hypothetical)
Right size

A daily quote generator, a habit tracker for one habit, a tool that summarizes your last week of journal entries, a single-number dashboard you care about, a tiny utility that does one thing well.

Too big

Anything with multiple user accounts, anything that needs other people's data, anything you'd describe as a "platform" or "marketplace," anything with more than two features.

In a short paragraph, tell me:

  • What does it do? (one sentence)
  • Who's it for? (could be just you)
  • What's the one thing that has to work for v1 to feel done?

I'll push back if it's too big — better now than mid-workshop.

One last thing

In one sentence — what would make this workshop a clear win for you?

After you click submit, Formspree may send you a quick confirmation email — just acknowledge it and your responses come through.
